Gifting in the Gulf is a serious business, and most gift guides are not. They recycle the same hampers and the same candles every season. Here's a shorter, more opinionated list — objects, not stuff — for the person who already has enough things and would rather have good ones.

The rule we use: a good gift is specific. It says I thought about you, not I bought a thing.
